Legally obligated
ast summer, I was at a baseball park watching some local kids smack the ball around. I was there not because of the caliber of play or the significance of the game or even the moment. I was there by law. My son was playing, and because of that, I was legally obligated by marital law to watch every second of the game.
I think it falls under Article One, Section Three, the fourth line down at the part that says if you don't show up to every game and practice, your wife will give you the cold shoulder for a term of one to two months. You also get "The Look," which a friend of mine describes as the expression you see on the face of a bank examiner who's found an incorrect balance.
