Nemmers: I ran back punts and kick-offs. We had a good team. We were 6-3 my first 3 years and my senior year, we were 8-1. 1964.

Officiating.com:  64 – That was the year you had 4 interceptions against Iowa Wesleyan?

Nemmers: Yeah! Where did you get all this information?

[laughter]

Officiating.com: I saw there was a kid this year that had three interceptions in one game but the writers were quick to point out that it was not quite four, like Larry Nemmers had.

[laughter]

Part II:

Officiating.com: You have had some success at the high school level [of officiating] as well. You called three state championships as a high school basketball official.

Nemmers: Yep.

Officiating.com: You worked some college BB. Was that primarily small school?
