set out to write an article about how I have taught my crew to handle free kicks. After reading the first two parts of Kent Holm's "Perspectives" I realized two things. (1) Kent and I are singing off the same sheet of music; and (2) I didn't have much interesting to say about free kicks.

Art...huh?

With five rookies and limited time we did not bother to cover kicking game responsibilities until the pregame of our first regular season game. 

Like good officials, we spent some time in the rule book before game day. Like good hillbillies, we quickly became confused and resorted to looking at the pictures.
