On to the game

ack in Part I the crew meets the two coaches during pregame, but "meet" clearly had a different meaning for them. Both were stand-offish, almost completely ignoring the crew as Jim, the Referee, attempted to complete his pregame duties. It left the crew thinking both coaches were "jerks" — to put it mildly. With that, the crew honed in on that impression of the coaches, so some reader is certain to ask: "Will  the coaches' pregame behavior affect the way the crew calls the game?

Not long into the game it becomes perfectly clear that the home team coaches, (Armstrong and company), will be constantly on the zebras. Case in point:
