uality in officiating is not determined by who throws the most flags, who buys the beer, or who drives the crew to the game. Nor is quality measured by the physical stature of the official, or even the tailoring of the uniform or shining of the shoes. Although all of the above are important to the good times that a crew should have in officiating and the perceptive that coaches, teams and fans will develop about the officiating team, quality is measured by other intangibles on the football field.
