hird to enter the spotlight in our discussion of methods of scheduling games for high school officials is the Abilene Chapter of the Texas Association of Sports Officials. Remember our objective is to share interesting information and to provide some ideas to use in tweaking your system and making it slightly more efficient for those involved in the decision making process. The Abilene chapter does not use the crew concept, allows coaches selections for only the higher classifications, and moves officials based upon priorities to fill cancellations after selection or assignment.
